We were only in Obidos 3 hours, and we stopped in here twice. We had the chorizo rolled bread sandwiches. They were warm, stone fired, with perfect bread, and delicious ingredients. Amazing! And our wonderful server spoke great English, joked with us, and made us feel so welcome. We took our food to go and ate it outside as we ‘people watched’ and enjoyed the sun.

What a fantastic spot! The bread is baked fresh daily, and the sandwiches are cooked to perfection in a real wood-fired oven—a true hidden gem in the middle of a busy tourist city. We tried the ham and chorizo sandwiches, and both were outstanding. Highly recommend stopping by!"

What a surprise to find a place in Óbidos that breaks away from the stereotypical shops that abound in the village. A bakery/cafeteria greeted by a delicious aroma of freshly baked bread from a wood-fired oven, with a profoundly eclectic atmosphere. Alongside the simple offering of fresh bread and cakes, you'll find scattered books, traditional decorative elements, and, at just the right volume, ambient jazz music. I had an impeccable bifana (pork sandwich), with a (truly) natural orange juice. A marvel!
